Riot Control Police (R.C.P.) has been formed to counter sudden riotous situation by a team of specially trained Police officers and men. This specialized force would be capable of handling and dealing with a riotous situation in an expert way, which is an asset to the Pune rural Police. There are four teams of RCP in Pune Rural Police. Each team has 25 police constables it consists of young, tough and trained officers and men capable of working in adverse situations. They have been trained in mob dispersal tactics and provided with suitable equipments for their operations. They have also been trained in First Aid. Name of these teams are 1. Rajgad 2.Torna 3.Sinhgad 4.Purandar
